How to Romance Caldarus in Fields of Mistria

"Although this form is made of stone, I can confirm that my heart is not...why do you ask?"

Fields of Mistria is a new cozy game available in Early Access on Steam. This cozy game is like Stardew Valley combined with Sailor Moon! This cozy game lets you farm, mine, complete quests, complete a museum, and build friendships with the villagers.

Fields of Mistria also has a mysterious stone dragon named Caldarus. Players are practically begging the developers to give Caldarus a human form and make him a romanceable character.

Players will first meet Caldarus on the night of Spring 2, when Caldarus enters your dreams. He will ask you to bring him Essence, and in return, you'll be able to upgrade your skills at his statue.

Further dialogue implies that the Mines are linked to Caldarus' memory problems. Future updates in the game will likely draw on this, adding quests and/or cut scenes to progress Caldarus' story as players dig deeper in the mines.

Will Caldarus be romanceable in Fields of Mistria?

Although it previously hadn't been confirmed, there were some tips in the game that make it seem like Caldarus will be a romanceable character in future updates. Caldarus has a heart next to his name. So far, only romanceable characters have had a heart next to their name in game!

In March 2025, Fields of Mistria will be getting an update including Caldarus' human form, allowing him to be a romanceable character!

The cozy game's first major update went live on November 18th, adding 6-heart events to all the human romanceable characters as well as a ton of new items and events. The next major update is scheduled for March 2025, adding Caldarus as a romanceable NPC, a new biome, new quests, and more!
