How to Complete the Glory of the Delver in World of Warcraft: The War Within

Updated: Nov 25

The Glory of the Delver achievement rewards players with the rare Ivory Goliathus mount in World of Warcraft: The War Within. This complete guide explains how to fulfill all 8 criteria for the Glory of the Delver achievement to get the Ivory Goliathus mount.

How to Complete the Glory of the Delver and get the Ivory Goliathus in World of Warcraft: The War Within

The Glory of the Delver achievement requires player to fulfill 8 criteria:

Patch 11.1 releasing in January 2025 will include two NEW delves in The War Within! It's unclear if these new delves will be incorporated into the Glory of the Delver achievement. Hopefully season 2 of The War Within will bring new achievements and mounts for the new delves.

Here's how to complete all 8 criteria for the Glory of the Delver achievement (and get the rare Ivory Goliathus mount):

War Within Delves: Tier 8 - Complete any Delve on Tier 8 with lives remaining. To quickly boost your delve tier levels, consider choosing one of the easier delves in The War Within. Delves are also scaled to be more difficult for solo players. Queue for a Delve in Group Finder to complete a Tier 8 delve successfully.

Leave no Treasure Unfound - Open all Sturdy Chests in each of the 12 delves: Kriegval's Rest, The Underkeep, Earthcrawl Mines, Mycomancer Cavern, the Dread Pit, the Waterworks, The Spiral Weave, The Sinkhole, Fungal Folly, Skittering Breach, Nightfall Sanctum, and Tak-Rethan Abyss. Completing this also rewards players with a title, "Seeker of Loot."

I TAKE Candle! - Complete a Kobold delve on Tier 8 or higher without exhausting an Enchanted Candle or Air Totem. The Kobold Delves are Kriegval's Rest in the Isle of Dorn and The Waterworks in The Ringing Deeps. The Enchanted Candle and Air Totem is exhausted after 100 steps, so make sure to pick up a new one before the existing one runs out.

Spider Senses - Complete a Nerubian delve on Tier 8 or higher without spawning ambushers from Nerubian Webs or taking damage from Nerubian Eggs. The Nerubian delves are Earthcrawl Mines in the Isle of Dorn, The Dread Pit in the Ringing Deeps, Skittering Breach in Hallowfall, and the Spiral Weave and the Underkeep in Azj-Kahet.

Thankfully, neither Brann nor class pets can trigger the Nerubian Webs or Nerubian Eggs. Just avoid tab-targeting and watch your steps in these dungeons.

Nemesis - Defeat Zekvir in his lair before the next season of delves. Zekvir is a boss in the hidden 13th delve. Zekvir's Lair is located in the Western-most section of the City of Threads in Azj-Kahet. You can defeat Zekvir on his lowest difficulty for this achievement.

Delve Loremaster: War Within - Complete all 3 stories for all 12 delves in The War Within. Each delve has 3 potential scenarios. The scenarios change every daily reset at 11 AM EST.

Sporesweeper - Complete a Fungarian Delve on Tier 8 or higher without being hit by an explosive spore. The Fungarian delves are Fungal Folly in the Isle of Dorn and Myomancer Cavern in Hallowfall. Avoid the circle radius around the sporbits to complete this achievement.

Just Keep Swimming - Complete a Kobyss Delve on Tier 8 or higher without losing your breath. The underwater Kobyss delves are The Sinkhole in Hallowfall and Tak-Rethan in Azj-Kahet. You can easily complete this achievement by equipping a Mastercraft Kaluak Fishing Pole, purchasable in Dragonblight and the Howling Fjord. Warlocks can also cast Unending Breath on party members.

Daystormer - Complete an Order of Night Delve on Tier 8 or higher without being hit by Artillery fire. The Order of Night delves are the Skittering Breach and Nightfall Sanctum.

Brann Development - Finally, players will need to level up Brann all the way to Level 25 to complete the Glory of the Delver achievement.

After completing all 10 of these criteria, players will be rewarded with the Glory of the Delver achievement and the rare Ivory Goliathus mount!

Blizzard recently announced that patch 11.1 will keep Brann as the only delve companion - after promising players that there would be new delve companions later on in The War Within. Despite this disappointing news, Brann will have some new abilities, including the ability to play a tank role in delves and new curios.
