New year, new trading post. Blizzard is getting everyone ready for the next Undermine(d) raid with new goblin contraptions and mech-inspired transmogs for the first Trading Post of 2025.
Here's everything coming to the January 2025 Trading Post in World of Warcraft: The War Within:
WoW January Trading Post Bonus Reward
The WoW January Trading Post reward is the Green Clockwork Contraptions Collection, definitely a nod to the coming Undermine(d) raid and Season 2 of The War Within that's full of goblin machinery.
This bonus reward is comprised of a back piece and weapons set (gun, hammer, shield, and fist weapon) that matches the Green Clockwork armor set available in the Trading Post for 650 tenders.
New Items in the January 2025 Trading Post
The most notable new items in the January Trading Post are the new mount and new pet. The Reins of the Brilliant Sunburst Peafowl is a bright orange and red recolor of the peafowl from last year. This looks like it will be the only new mount on the trading post and will be available for 750 Tenders.
There are also three returning mounts in the Trading Post this month: The Warforged Nightmare, the Savage Alabaster Battle Turtle, and the Copper Resonating Crystal. The Warforged Nightmare is a previous shop mount that players could purchase for $30 during WoD.
The Wind-Up Wuffi is an adorable robot puppy companion that will cost only 300 Tenders.
The Wind-Up Woofer is a green version of the robot puppy companion that matches the rest of the Clockwork attire. The returning pet is the Time-Lost Salamanther that's also available for 300 Tender.
The new armor set for the January Trading Post is the Ensemble: Green Clockwork Attire. This set is a cosmetic meaning it can be applied to any class. The only new weapon transmogs available for purchase are the Golden Clockwork Power Hammer and the Steamwheedle Artifact Extractor off-hand.
The Steamwheedle Artifact Extractor is a funny offhand that resembles a bundle of dynamite sticks. As a warlock player, I'm a little disappointed that there isn't a dagger or staff transmog in the Trading Post this month. Surely Blizzard is saving all their juice for the upcoming Trading Post anniversary in February!

Upcoming Trading Post Anniversary
The Trading Post's second anniversary is in February 2025, and Blizzard will be having a special event to celebrate. In February 2025, players will be able to earn an additional 500 Trader's Tender to spend on a wide selection of rewards. Blizzard will be bringing back mounts, pets, toys, and transmogs released over the last two years for the anniversary month.
If December is your 12th month completing the Traveler's Log, you can expect to also receive the Trading Post Enthusiast achievement and the Unrelenting Justice transmog.
The Burden of Unrelenting Justice transmog is the reward for earning the special reward from the Trading Post 12 times. It doesn't have to be consecutively, so if you missed a couple months in 2024, you can still expect to earn the armor set in early 2025.
