Everything Coming to The October Trading Post in World of Warcraft: The War Within

Updated: Sep 29

Finally, another jellyfish mount! We've been waiting all year for the spooky season Trading Post rewards. Here are all the mounts and transmogs coming to the Trading Post in World of Warcraft: The War Within (October 2024).

Blizzard is bringing Halloween to the Trading Post next month, along with a theme of "light and dark." Players will be able to purchase several spooky outfits and mounts, along with some very cool weapons that will have both a light and a dark transmog. If you've been waiting for the perfect white feather bow or black scythe to complete a transmog, next month is the perfect time to spend your tender!

Before blowing all your Trading Post tender on Halloween transmogs, you may want to save some for November! Blizzard has also announced that class sets will be returning to the Trading Post in November, and class restrictions will be removed. This means players can purchase any class set regardless of what character you're on.

Completing the Traveler's Log found in the Adventure Guide will reward players with the Depthstalker mount, a shadowy silver and white jellyfish mount. Players can fill out the monthly Traveler's Log by completing certain tasks like killing dungeon bosses and completing world quests.

Along with the Depthstalker, players can also purchase the Hand of Reshkigaal for 750 Trader's Tender. This spooky mount is the first new hand mount to come out since Shadowlands and makes for the perfect Halloween-themed ride!

Both of the mounts this month follow the Shadowlands theme, maybe a nod to the multiple Shadowlands dungeons in this season's Mythic+ rotation. The Depthstalker is a recolor of the Zereth Mortis jellyfish, and the Hand of Reshkigaal is a recolor of the hand mounts added in Chains of Domination (an achievement mount that is pretty easy to farm.)

Players can also purchase the companion the Soot-Stained Shalewing. The Swift Zhevra is also returning to the Trading Post this month for 550 Trader's Tender, the first time it's returning since November 2023.

The Halloween armor set this year is the Ragged Harvest Golem, a dark scarecrow-themed set that has a unique fist weapon transmog to complete it. The Harvester's Claw is a unique spooky fist weapon cosmetic that will only be available next month!

Along with the Harvester's Set, Granny's Old Hat is returning from the October 2023 Trading Post. This old hat is the perfect addition to a witch transmog. Along with spooky mounts and transmogs, the WoW October Trading Post will feature 5 weapons that a light aesthetic and 5 weapons with a dark aesthetic.

Some other random spooky transmogs include the Caged Eye of the Watcher, an offhand featured the caged eye of an old god. "Ever feel like you're being watched?"

The Ashen Executioner is a two-handed Polearm that's also making a return to the Trading Post in October.

Players can find the Trading Post in Dornogol, the capital city of the Isle of Dorn. There are also Horde and Alliance-specific locations. A Trading Post vendor is just outside the Mage District in Stormwind, and next to Grommash Hold in Orgrimmar.
