Visit the Indiana Medical History Museum, located on the campus of the former Central State Hospital in Indianapolis. Unfortunately, you can't tour the abandoned Central State Hospital, but you can visit this museum that displays equipment, patient records, and research from the hospital.
Visit the Mothman Festival in historic Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Every September, the quiet town of Point Pleasant celebrates the cryptid that originated there. Shop at vendors that come from around the country, learn the history behind the cryptid at the Mothman museum, and take a picture next to his statue!
Walk the most haunted trail in Ohio to Moonville Tunnel. This rail trail near Athens, Ohio leads to the abandoned mining town of Moonville. This railroad was active between 1851 and the 1940's, and the infamous Moonville Tunnel is one of the only structures left of the town.
